So much has happened in this past year. We opened our first retail space in
Millersburg, Ohio a year ago.
We started with seven Amish seamstresses at that time. We had no idea what to expect with a retail studio. We took a huge leap of faith. We had a successful Grand Opening.
Heres the transformation that went into our studio.
As we were moving into the fall. We soon realized we need to add more seamstresses and styles.
We also added the 5 ladies to the studio.
In August we had our first Rock The Frock Runway Show in our back alley.
We had a fun photoshoot in the fall and we released the popular Annie Fleece.
We had a great time at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio.
The Country Living Fair in Atlanta, Georgia was a success also.
We soon were up to 30 seamstresses to keep up with the demands of the frocks.
Ruthie Collins flew in for our Christmas shoot in November.
We were so grateful for all the people that showed up for our Christmas Open House.
Then, we planned our fun 35 day roadshow with the frocks.
We learned so much in those 35 days. We met amazing people and made God appointed connections.
Then, there was the studio fire and rebuilding after that.
Next, we traveled to L.A. for a fabric textile show.
After that, we came home and staged our Millersburg Studio. It was like starting all over after the fire. I had to dig deep to keep living with the "more faith than fear" spirit, that we base our business off of.
Next, we opened our second retail location in Sarasota, Florida. Ten days later we reopened our Millersburg, Ohio studio.
Only with Gods grace, energy, and my team was that possible.
In the spring we did another Country Living Fair in Nashville, Tennessee.
We had many fun photoshoots in between. This one was at Warwick Farms.
We did the Rural Society Garden Show which is located at Warwick farms also.
I could go on and on about all the amazing people we've met in the past year. Also about all I've learned with running a business that has favor with the Lord. Maybe in another blog post I could talk more about that.
This Saturday, July 2nd will be one year that we opened our first studio. I can't believe it's only been a year and I keep checking to make sure that I didn't miss a year.
We hope you join us for our celebration. There will be big sales and a premier of our newest line of Farmhouse Baby Frocks.
July, 2nd Saturday 10-5
My girls and I want to personally thank everyone of you frock fans and customers. It's because of all of you that we can share this story of our successful year.
Here's one on a fun note. People ask me how I am and I answer with "Blessed, stressed and well dressed."
This crazy and fun adventure of Farmhouse Frocks started because I wanted cute clothing to wear as a plus size women. Who would have guessed that we had to add an extra small for the guests at the Sarasota studio.
Thank you for loving us so well. We are so excited where this next year will lead us!
