Where do I even begin to tell you how honored we are to do an Exclusive Collection with our friend Liz Marie. I first met Liz on social media. After following her for years, we were able to first meet her at one of her Found Cottage Merchantile Markets in Holland, Michigan. I was totally star struck as I handed her a Lola Wrap I had brought along to give her. Let's be honest, we really came for a chance to meet her instead of the antiques we were hoping to find. She was the sweetest and we instantly clicked - I felt like we've been friends for years.
Fast forward two years later, and here we are doing a dream collaboration with her. We let her come up with her own designs and pick out all the details down to the buttons she wants on them. Her and Jose have been so great to work along side with. All the sizes fit same as the rest of our Frocks, and we have them in all sizes XS to 3X.
Here we have Beatrix Smock that Liz designed. She wanted a shirt that fits oversized as a jacket or an artist smock, available in an olive green linen with wooden buttons. Liz also designed the Bella Tunic, shown under the Beatrix Smock, available in two different colors - white linen and a cream & white striped linen. The knot in the front of the Frock creates such a nice, little fun touch. Accessorized with her outfit above, Liz is also wearing the new Pipa Necklace and Earrings. The necklace has a tiny sweet tag attached to the closing with her name on it.
We got to travel to her hometown to do a photo shoot at The White Cottage Farm near to Grand Rapids, Michigan. This whole experience has brought tears of gratitude many a times since we've build this incredible friendship and business partnership together.
Here you can see how the Winnie Romper fits me just as well as it does Liz.
The drawstring slims your waist, with the most comfortable, grey linen. The button down front also makes it nursing-friendly with the wooden buttons look great on the grey textile.
We've been busy sewing her line and getting it ready for the launch! Now for some exciting news - we will be hosting a Meet & Greet with Liz, Jose, and sweet baby Cope on June 14th from 5-7pm here at our Studio at 45 West Jackson Street Millersburg, Ohio. This will be a ticketed event. Your ticket into the event will include appetizers and drinks, be the first to try on and buy her new line, as well as our other line of Frocks! Liz will be signing your Frocks on the tag and taking photos with customers through the evening.
This will be a night to remember! You can purchase your tickets here or at the front door the night of the event.
Liz's looks so good in her new line, and we think it'll be some of the best pieces we have designed yet! Above, Liz is wearing the striped Bella with our Poppy Pants. We suggest you downsizing in size, due to everything fitting roomy.
We left the best for last! This Grace Carry All is everything you could ask for. Not only is it a great-sized purse, it is also a backpack. This is the bag we made with her name on the front to surprise her. For any Grace Carry All you purchase, the logo will be on the side pocket. The outside is made with a quality canvas fabric and the inside is lined with a soft, French ticking.
So we're doing a pre-launch of her line on June 1st. This will be a way you can be sure to get yours before we sell out. You can already see the collection on our website.
Here's a link to Liz's Blog she wrote about our collaboration.
Here's places we suggest staying at while you visit for the Meet & Greet.
There's also many, many Antique stores locally that you can find on google maps to entertain yourself for the day!
Ok, Let's get back to how blessed we feel to have this opportunity to be able to help Liz design her own line along with our Amish Seamstresses. We hope to see you the night of her launch and if not you'll be able to shop at a later date at our Studio or online!
